Australian Develop Ford Falcon GT-H

When the official in house tuner for Ford Australia division, Ford Performance vehicles (FPV), firstly announced their plans for the supercharged version of the 5.0 liter Coyote V8 found in the Mustang GT, we are thinking about 500 horsepower monsters with a huge torque. Unfortunately when the final product was released last year with the Ford Falcon FPV GT, GT-E, and GT-P sedans, it is kinda let us down.

But today, it seems that was because the FPV was reserving some more potent form of their new V-8 engine for a very special model, The much awaited GT-H. The vehicle is touted to be the spiritual successor to the legendary GT-HO Ford Falcons from the 1970s. The new GT-H is also expected to feature the same supercharged Coyote V-8, with an additional intercooler system.

The prototypes of FPV Falcon GT has been spotted on a cold weather testing, and this one has a pair of small intercoolers which are located on either side of the front bumper, where the fog lights normally be. This additional intercooler system allow the engineers to dial up more boost from the supercharger system which will increase the power levels to around 500 horsepower. If it will be created, I think 2011 Melbourne Auto Show on July will be a nice place for debut.

Buyers can get their car with either four or six doors choice, and the Tim’s crew usually takes around six weeks to turn your lovely vehicle from a pickup into an SUV car. In that time, the shop will finds a 2005 Excursion from the southwest, brings it to their shop in Guthrie, Oklahoma, then finally they surgically removes the rear end of the vehicle.

Turbo-Powered KIA Sportage Debut In Canada

Turbo-Powered KIA Sportage Debut In Canada

The 2011 International Truck of the Year has some new variety of engine available under its hood. The Canadian KIA fans can soon head over to ther prefered dealers and pick up the new 2011 KIA Sportage SX which features the directly injected 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine. While Canada is really close to the United States, I think the U.S. will follow suit in a very short order.

Using a six speed automatic transmission, this turbo mill has a torque curve that is relatively flat with the peak power occuring between 1,8000 and 3,000 rpm. When it was bolted to the 2011 Sonata, the 2.0T is rated with 274 horsepower and a torque of 269 pound feet. I think the Sportage SX will produce a not too far results from there, including the 30+ miles per gallon highway fuel economy figures.

This 2011 KIA Sportage SX will come to the Canadian dealer showrooms in the end of winter. It comes loaded with the standard features including the UVO entertainment system that is similar to Ford’s sync, while the price is $ 36,995. This car is on display at the Montreal International Auto Show which opened on January 14th. That is also where the picture above come from.

Alfa Romeo 4C GTA For Geneva Auto Show

Alfa Romeo 4C GTA For Geneva Auto Show

The Fiat Groups has already got their big plans for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. First of all, this Italian carmaker will be unveiling the rebadged versions of the existing Chrysler group products for the European market, with a Dodge rebadged as Fiat, and some other Chryslers which were anticipated to debut with Lancia nameplates as well.

Now let’s talk about another carmaker, Alfa Romeo. According to some reports, the hottest Fiat’s core family will roll in with their all new concept car. At this point, the vehicle is dubbed as the 4C GTA. The car is tipped to bring a 265 horsepower, 1.7 liter turbo four into a svelte coupe package. Like their MiTo and Giuletta, this 4C GTA will likely take the design cues after the 8C Competizone, and hopefulyl some points from the Pininfarina 2uettotanta like in the picture, but slotting in below this eight cylinder supercar from the company’s line up.

I think it would surely be approved for the production first. The other car from Alfa Romeo which are rumored to come to the Geneva Auto Show is the Giulietta, and MiTo MY 11. But once again I said, it is just a rumor that I hope will going to be true in Geneva.
